I believe people are addicted to Facebook. I believe i am one of those people. I’m a person with very little time to do stuff and i purposely make time to go on Facebook almost every other day, if not every day. You’re probably thinking what’s there to do on Facebook every day?
my answer is i don’t really know, i don’t go on the apps on Facebook because i personally don’t like those games.so what do i do? I creep on people haha its fun and something new every day! But seriously that makes it addicting? According to some bloggers on yahoo answers people say Facebook is addictive because you can speak to a distant friend. Instant messaging service, meet new people, etc... But then meeting new people could it be dangerous? Yes it can be dangerous if you meet someone then meet up with them in person and they become a stalker or someone very different then you thinks. I only add people on Facebook that i know personally or people that i have mutual friends with. But i think Facebook is a good website to have por que...i can talk to mi amigos from different areas and different states. But i do think i over use Facebook. As i believe others are to because 2/3 of the world is on Facebook....

ReplyDeleteGreat post! I'm sure your classmates could contribute a lot to this conversation. PErsonally, I don't use facebook all that much. And I want to challenge you a little bit--of all the time you spend on facebook, how much do you spend catching up with people that you DON'T see on a regular basis? Are you really using facebook to keep in touch with people you couldn't contact in person?
Most facebook addicts use it for the "stalking"/"creeping" purposes..is this a good way for people to spend their time?
And here is proof that Greenswag and I are MUCH different. I have Facebook open as I type this - and it's been open almost since I got home. HOWEVER, I will say I do the bulk of my Facebooking to keep in touch with my friends from college who have moved all over the country. That, to me, is the appeal. I could careless about statuses and and "likes" and all of that - but to keep up on who is doing what and where they are working and all that jazz - I love it!

thank you mr. Farrell ha on the otherhand ms. Greenswag i do use facebook to keep in touch with my friends who dont live near us. i think facebook isnt a great way to spend my time but hey whatever...hah and i like using facebook chat with people who dont have texting to keep contact with them and i think its faster than texting so therefore my life is easier with facebook
